I told you we weren't kidding. We put our CD on CDBaby.com and within 24 hours some guy from Austria bought one of our CD's. We're on every possible digital music website. If you find one that doesn't have our music, please e-mail me so I can get us on there. There are quite a few that still haven't finzlized our music, but if it's not on there by the middle of March, there's problems. In other words, if there's anybody, anywhere, at anytime that wants to buy our music, it's right there for you. Unless of course you want to hear it on the radio. You have to call them and request our stuff.

In other news. I've re-vamped our ringtones. When I finish re-designing the website they'll be a little easier to get to, but in the meantime, just go to music and click on an album and you'll see the link for ringtones on each individual album's page. Cool. Later!!!

We here at Gabby Johnson are taking 2008 very seriously. We're on iTunes, we're on Amazon.com, we're on Rhapsody, we're on eMusic.com, we're at Fitzgerald's this week. . .okay that last one is not part of our taking over the world. BUT. . .seriously folks, please check out our new music. If you haven't heard anything from the new CD, LIFE, look at it on iTunes. Of the above stores I mentioned, last time I checked, Rhapsody was the only one not up to date. To be honest with you, we get the most profit from our sales on iTunes, so if you're gonna buy a CD (or a single track), we would prefer that you do it on iTunes. You don't have to have an iPod to have iTunes; it's just another music thingy that you can download songs and play them on there, and keep your playlists and all that.
PICTURES:
We've updated the pictures here on the website and on the myspace page. I'm actually going to try and take more pictures at gigs so that people that aren't coming can see what they're missing.
GIGS:
The calendars are updated. January was a little slow, February's picking up, and March is pretty much booked solid. We're excited about the way things are going in 2008 and we want you all to get in on it!!! We're about to start contacting radio stations about playing our songs, and that's when we'll need your help. You can actually help right now. Anytime you want to, call any radio station you want to and request anything by Gabby Johnson. If I were picky, I'd say request something off the new CD, but as long as when you're talking to someone at the radio station, you say the words, "GABBY JOHNSON", we're happy. Do it right now. Do it again tomorrow. Tell your brother and sister to do it. We love you for it in advance.
RINGTONES:
We have ringtones available for all of our CD's. I didn't put every song on here from our older CD's, but I did put the most popular songs. To get a ringtone, go to the MUSIC section and click on whatever album you want your ringtones from. You can preview them all before you buy them and it's quite easy to do
NEWSLETTER:
Our physical newsletter is about to be done away with and replaced with an e-mail newsletter. If you've been on our mailing list forever, and you're okay with getting and electronic version, send an e-mail to: newsletter@gabbyjohnson.com giving us your name and home address and saying it's okay to switch you over. The new e-newsletter will be the same thing, and maybe a little better. It will be in color, it will come out once a month, it will have a full calendar with a picture or two, tidbits about what we're doing, where we're going, and why you should be there, and best of all, you'll just have to hit PRINT for it to be on your fridge in just seconds. If you want to be on that mailing list, send an e-mail to "newsletter@gabbyjohnson.com" with your home city so that we can personalize your Gabby Johnson experience.

The calendar is updated!!! That's all though. I know it's hard to believe, but I am still working on the ringtones from "Been So Long". I haven't started on "129" yet, but as soon as I get "Been So Long" done, I'll start on the really old stuff. Be sure to check back here (on each album's page), or on our myspace to see when those ringtones might be available. It's really easy to do by the way, so if you want some ringtones from our new CD, Life, just go to the page we have about "Life" and you'll see the link to the ringtones down there.

The new CD, Life, is now available for sale on the website. If you go to goodies, you'll find all the Gabby Gear you need. All 4 CD's are there, the t-shirts are there, and we've got the koozies and the stickers on there as well. We're looking into getting some girl's shirts, and some hoodies since it's getting a little chilly now. . .

We've also got ringtones from the new CD for sale. I'll probably be working on adding some ringtones from the older CD's, but I did this one first b/c it's our most recent. They're only $1.99, and I made several from each song, so there's about 40 or so to choose from, so check that out!!!

To everybody that came out to the CD-Release Party, THANK YOU!!! We're very excited about the new CD b/c it's so much more indicative of who we are than any piece of music we've ever created. We hope you like it half as much as we do, and if you do, be sure to tell your friends about it. Since we've been together for over 10 years now, we're trying to get some attention with CD sales. We've been thinking about the music all this time, trying to create something great, and now that we have something that we're proud of, we want to show the world that we're here. What I'm trying to say is this: SPREAD THE WORD!!!

If you have friends in different cities, states, or countries, tell them about us. Tell them to get on our website and buy a CD, download a ringtone, get some stickers, do all that stuff. We need all the help we can get. I would love to think that we could do it by ourselves, but I don't think that's the way it works. We'll take care of "our people", but we need "our people" to tell "their people" so that we can get "out there". Call Rock 103 (901-535-9103), 93X (901-535-0939), 98.1 (901-535-9898), and every other radio station and request our songs at all hours and as many times as you feel comfortable doing. The more they hear our name, the more likely they are to play our songs.

In the meantime, thank you so much for being there for us all these years!!!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! Say an extra prayer for all our brave men and women in the armed forces today. They need all the help they can get and since we can't do much from where we are, a prayer everyday (and two today) will help them more than we could imagine.

I updated the gigs a while back, so I think we're good all the way through September now. As if you can't tell, the whole world has shifted into "myspace mode". I haven't done much videoing of the band lately, so I don't have anything funny to put on here. I'll work on that b/c I think I'm gonna start putting our videoes on myspace. Later!!

So, I moved out of my apartment, into a house, signed up for Comcast and it took almost a month to get my internet up and running. I'm going strong now, so the calendar's will be updated and all that good stuff. . .Sorry.

Here's some news for you. Yesterday, March 26, 2007 we started recording our new CD!!!!!!!! So that means about 6 months from now it will be on sale. So no more talk. We've actually started on it now. We appreciate your patience with this, but your waiting will pay off because I promise this one's gonna be filled with some foot-stompin' rock and roll!! I'll keep you updated on the progress
